The jQuery dependency (for the Dialog JS API) in particular is quite heavy – it would be great to be have a non-jQuery Uploadcare library available (even at the expense of some browser compatibility).

This is already on our roadmap. The next major version of the widget we’re working on will be jQuery-free. Stay tuned!

Just found this forum, just checking; this is not done yet right? Current widget is still using jQuery.
