Wordpress > how to use Uploadcare in the frontend?

I have a website, like an Airbnb and where users (hosts) submit images from the frontend when they add their house to the listing.

Is that possible to use uploadcare when they upload images to their listing?

Thanks,
L

Hi @Leandro_Henflen, absolutely! Check out our quick start guide demonstrating how to install the widget and how to use its API to retrieve URLs of uploaded files. The URLs/UUIDs can be then saved to your database and associated with particular users/listings/other entities.

Thanks @Alex , but I don’t see in that guide how to do it with Wordpress. By default I see that Uploadcare works only with Wordpress’ backend to upload images.

Any idea how to use Uploadcare in the frontend instead of Wordpress default upload feature?

Thanks,
L

We have a plugin for WordPress, and if you use the Guttenberg editor, you can use our uploader to add images. To add an image while editing a post or a page, choose “Uploadcare image” block.
