Great news again! Uploadcare has been shortlisted for 3 nominations at The Cloud Awards 2020-2021, the first and the largest recognition platform for excellence and innovation in the sphere of Cloud Computing. The platform was founded in 2011 by a group of technical engineers, business leaders, and marketers.
This year, the awards will be presented in 23 categories. Uploadcare managed to enter three shortlists:
Best B2B Customer Strategy — Judged on the basis of business-to-business customer acquisition, fast growth, and an ongoing customer retention strategy.
Best Platform as a Service or Cloud Middleware — Considers open platforms, development facilities, standalone and application delivery-only environments.
Cloud Project of the Year — Highlights the most impressive case study which showcases innovation in the cloud that has made a significant difference to the organization.
For the Cloud Project of the Year category, we submitted our case study with Shogun, a page-building platform for ecommerce teams and agencies. It showcases how integrating Uploadcare’s File Uploader, cloud storage and smart CDN helped Shogun reduce their image bandwidth by 80% and image delivery costs by $300,000 or 86%.
The winners will be chosen by a team of judges that represents a mix of technical, business, academic, and marketing expertise. Among the judges, there are experts in R&D engineering, IT consulting, marketing, UX design, and more.
Though making it to the shortlist at The Cloud Awards is an achievement in itself, we hope the next news on our blog will be about Uploadcare winning this competition.
